First of all HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of you.... I have been a little quiet lately but a lot has been going on in my life. I went back home for christmas where - and I only told a few of you - I had an interview for a position in Germany. Despite my feeling it obviously went extremely well as they offered me a position as research assistant. I am going to start my new job at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg on April 1st. It was a very hard decision, but things that happened recently, here and back home, made me realise that it is time for me to move back to Germany. My time here is over, there is nothing left holding me back. I will miss all my friends that I got very close to espcially in the last year but I know it's what I have to do. The job is the biggest opportunity I will ever get and Heidelberg is an amazing city. I am very excited and looking forward to it with a big I can't wait to meet a few peeps down there.....

Other than that I am thrilled to announce that cork based band The Citizen used my photos on their website frontpage. It actually looks really well and I am all excited.

Oh and check my latest submissions from the christmas market in cologne and the Bell X1 concert I have been to. OMG it was the best gig I have been to in AGES.... If you don't already know them go check them out!!!

Right, off into town for dinner and drinkies to celebrate my new job with my old colleagues....
